Pope St John Paul II's 1st Apostolic Visit to Papua New Guinea

Pope Saint John Paul II was a pilgrim to Papua New Guinea in 1984 during his 21st apostolic journey, on which he also visited the USA, South Korea, the Solomon Islands & Thailand. JPII's second pilgrimage to Papua New Guinea was in 1995.
