1st August - Feast of St Alphonsus Liguori - Ashley

Our Lady's message to Mirjana Soldo, Medjugorje, 2nd August 2014:

"Dear children, the reason that I am with you, my mission, is to help you for ‘good’ to win, even though this does not seem possible to you now. I know that you do not understand many things as I also did not understand everything, everything that my Son explained to me while he was growing up alongside me – but I believed him and followed him. I ask this of you also, to believe me and to follow me. However, my children, to follow me means to love my Son above everything, to love him in every person without making differences. For you to be able to do this, I call you anew to renunciation, prayer and fasting. I am calling you for the Eucharist to be the life of your soul. I am calling you to be my apostles of light who will spread love and mercy through the world. My children, your life is only a blink in contrast to eternal life. And when you come before my Son, in your hearts he will see how much love you had. In order to spread love in the right way, I am asking my Son, through love, to grant you unity through him, unity among you, unity between you and your shepherds. Through them my Son always gives himself to you anew and renews your soul. Do not forget this. Thank you"

2nd August - Feast of St Eusebius of Vercelli - Patrick

"Mary is the epitome of compassion and love, and she’s always looking out for everyone. And I'm new to having a family and I pray to her to look after my family."

Patrick is from London.

3rd August - Sister Dorosella

"Something I can say about Our Lady: I like her readiness, she’s very, very much a mother, she’s the role of the Church. I like the way she was very strong, even in sorrow she always managed to follow her son and to make sure that everything was done. Also we can see from the beginning of the Church she was encouraging the apostles to keep on praying."

Sister Dorosella is from Tanzania & gives her response in English & Swahili.

4th August - Feast of St Jean Marie Vianney - Alain

"Well, I do love Mary because she is my mother. There is something very, very particular about her that makes me always come back to her. It's what is said in Scriptures that her streets are clear and transparent. So whatever she says and recommends for her children are the truth and are the best for them. And it's an opinion that comes from heaven and I believe that following it we will get to her and then she will hand us over to God.

Alain is from Cameroon.

5th August - Feast of Our Lady of the Snows - Sister Ruth

"What I can say about our Mother, the Virgin Mary: she's really helping us. And then I like to follow her ways because she was humble, she was ready to receive that message which she was given by the angel that 'you are going to have a son'. Then that readiness, it suggests teaching me that I have to be ready: if I hear the voice of God telling me to do something, I have to be ready to take it and do what I am supposed to do."

Sister Ruth is from Tanzania; she gives her response in English & Swahili.

6th August - Feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord - Veronica

"Our Lady to me is my world. Without Our Lady I have no life. I talk to her every day, I pray the rosary every day, for her intentions, for my own salvation. "

Veronica is from Cameroon & gives her response in English & Bali (the language of her village).

7th August - Feast of St Cajetan of Tiene - Raymond

"The Mother of Jesus - just an inspiration to us all."

Raymond is from London.

8th August - Feast of St Dominic - Vicky

"Our dear Mother Mary is our refuge in time of need. She was a blessing, much blessing, to me and my family. I prayed for accommodation for a year and, during the Day of Mary, our Mother Mary answered in due and perfect time. And I thank her forever for she is the Mother of my Saviour Jesus and our Mother. Amen."

Vicky is from the Philippines.

9th August - Feast of St Teresa Benedicta of the Cross - Alexy

"I feel very close to Our Lady because I was meant to be born dead and my mama prayed to the Virgin Mary and here I am!"

Alexy is 31 & from America.

10th August - Mario

"From the beginning I was very inspired with Our Lady. She is a loving mother to me and I am very passionate with Mother Mary. I lead a rosary prayer group  in West London with a Filipino group. We move the statue of Our Lady from house to house every week. Our aim is to encourage the family to pray together with the rosary with Our Lady. Our image that we are promoting is Our Lady Mediatrix of all Grace."

Mario is from the Philippines.

11th August - Feast of St Clare of Assisi - Charlotte

"Our Lady is a mother to me in a way that I've needed and been healed by. And her gentleness and her constancy and her presence in my life are growing and developing each day, particularly through the rosary. And I'm finding more and more love in my heart for Our Lady and pray to her more each day."

Charlotte is from England.

12th August - Irma

"Oh, I love Mary. She's really a lot to me. She's really like a mother - like she's the mother to Jesus, she's really a mother to me. And she's really good, she really protects."

Irma is from the Philippines.

13th August - Feast of St Maximus the Confessor - Mona

"Well I just love Our Lady. I live for her. She’s good to me and everything, so I love her. She’s wonderful."

Mona is from Dominica.

14th August - Feast of St Maximilian Kolbe - Katarina

"I have a really deep relationship with Our Lady because I feel that, well, she's the Patron Saint of my country and we've always had this devotion in Slovakia to Our Lady. So I think it's beautiful when we can think of her not only as our mother in the spiritual mother, but actually even as her looking at us every day and helping us in our daily tasks by encouraging us to follow Christ and lift up our cross every day."

Katarina is 24 & from Slovakia; she gives her response in English & Slovak.

15th August - Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady - Lyn

"I consider Our Blessed Mother as my own mother. She called me a couple of years ago to be her child, her own particular daughter, when my now husband introduced me to The True Devotion to Mary by St Louis de Montfort. It is through that that I've realised that she was as interested in me, in me deepening my faith and her forming me in her womb, so to speak. And that relationship deepened with her. And through that relationship and through that novena which we now do every year, The True Devotion, I feel that she is advocating for me in the most difficult moments of our life, of my life, in our marriage she speaks up for me and she's that voice in my heart like a mother, caring for me, caring for our marriage in the most difficult times. And during the most challenging of times she would always bring us to Mass."

Lyn is from the Philippines.

Our Lady of Medjugorje's message to Marija Pavlović on 25 August 2014:

“Dear children! Pray for my intentions, because Satan wants to destroy my plan which I have here and to steal your peace. Therefore, little children, pray, pray, pray that God can act through each of you. May your hearts be open to God’s will. I love you and bless you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.”

“Queridos hijos!
