2nd July - Raphael

"For me Mary the Virgin is perhaps another part of the mystery of Jesus. As I really believe he is the Lord, to be the mother of the Lord is also something rather incomprehensible. This turns it on the one hand rather difficult to understand, on the other rather impressive and tantalizing. Through my life, I have become more and more appreciative of Mary's role in Jesus' life ... I try to pray to Mary as a way of understanding Jesus' life and Jesus' experience and feelings."

Raphael is from the Basque region in Spain; he gives his algo acerca de María in English & Spanish.

Our Lady's message to Mirjana Soldo, Međugorje, 2nd July 2012:

"My children, Again, in a motherly way, I implore you to stop for a moment and to reflect on yourselves and on the transience of this your earthly life. Then reflect on eternity and the eternal beatitude. What do you want? Which way do you want to set out on? The Father's love sends me to be a mediatrix for you, to show you with motherly love the way which leads to the purity of soul; a soul unburdened by sin; a soul that will come to know eternity. I am praying that the light of the love of my Son may illuminate you, so that you may triumph over weaknesses and come out of misery. You are my children and I desire for all of you to be on the way of salvation. Therefore, my children, gather around me that I may have you come to know the love of my Son and thus open the door of eternal beatitude. Pray as I do for your shepherds. Again I caution you: do not judge them, because my Son chose them. Thank you."

3rd July - Feast of St Thomas, the Apostle - Agnes

"I started to pray the rosary a few months ago. This was caused by a nun talking to me and she taught me that when we say rosary prayers, it's just like giving Mary dozens of roses. And I think all women like roses so, although it's a little bit long, I think it's worth spending time. And when we say rosary prayers it's just like reflecting every day. And this is really gracious, because whenever you finish rosary prayers, you know that you're giving her gifts and you're giving gifts to the people around you as well."

Agnes is 24 & from Hong Kong; she gives her response in English & Cantonese.
